From Here to There:
Packing and Shipping Your Clematis

We remove the plants from their pots and
wrap the root ball in kraft paper.
The plant is then placed in plastic
to keep the mailing box dry.
The plant tops are staked to keep them from
flopping around.
The plastic bag is taped securely to keep soil
from spilling.
Cardboard strips taped to the plant
hold it in place in the box.
Two plants fit sunggly in a Priority Mail box.
