Clematis Varieties for Internet Sales
Updated 2/23/10.
Closed for the season.
We will resume shipping clematis in April 2010.
Our plants are wintered outside, so we need to wait
for the ground to thaw before we can send them to you.
Clematis will be $16.99 each in 2010.
Here are all the details:
We are able to ship to US addresses only.
Apologies to our friends in Canada!

- Availability: Most of the varieties we offer are available for mail-order. However, a few are in larger pots and are marked as "Retail Only". Call or e-mail if you'd like some of them; we can make them available at a higher shipping charge.
- Payment: There is a PayPal shopping cart attached to our web site. You do not need a PayPal account to use this cart - it accepts all the major credit cards.
- Condition: The clematis plants we will ship have been growing here for at least a year. That means you will receive a strong, healthy plant with a well developed root system - but we will have to cut the tops back quite a lot to fit them in the boxes.
- Shipping Charges: All plants will be sent United States Flat Rate Priority Mail. We can fit two plants in a box and it costs $10.20 to ship one box. That means it costs $10.20 to ship 1 or 2 plants, $20.40 to ship 3 or 4 and so on.
- Large Orders: Our shipping cart only allows us to include shipping charges for orders up to 10 plants. If you are ordering more than 10 plants, please contact us for shipping charges.
- Packaging: Clematis will be shipped out of the pot. They have been grown in pots that are approximately 7 inches by 7 inches, so they have well grown root systems.
- Shipping Schedule:We ship on Tuesday and Wednesday, to make sure your plants can reach you before the weekend. We have found that it takes three days for plants to reach the far corners of the country (like California), so we will ship those orders only on Tuesdays.
- We will include complete planting instructions with your order. These same instructions can be found here on our web site. If you have questions not covered in the instructions or on the web site, feel free to e-mail us at hummingbird@megalink.net
